22nd Pro Am Regatta 2008

Join us for the only event of its kind in the world, where America’s Cup skippers, Olympic medalists, Around the World Race winners and world champions gather at Bitter End Yacht Club in the British Virgin Islands, to lead teams made up of resort guests in a week-long competition for the top Pro Am Regatta honors. This exhilarating event will allow amateurs to maximize their on-water experience with the pros as well as enjoy a lively social schedule with fellow sailors off the water.
At Press Time, barring future events beyond our control, we’ve got these skippers lined up to host the 2008 race week:

The format will be fleet racing (windward-leewards), and Navigator-Style Racing within North Sound, using IC 24s, provided by Racing In Paradise.
And, Honorary Chair Tom Leweck of Scuttlebutt Sailing Club will once again be on hand.
