The latest seasonal addition to the Bitter End fleet is the cruising yacht Venture II. Where our Express 37, Cosmic Warlord, satisfies the need for speed, Venture II provides comfort and relaxation. She is a Beneteau 50, designed by Bruce Farr, so you know she has a good performance pedigree, but she’s all about cruising amenities. With a large cockpit and spacious decks, there is plenty of room to spread out under sail. And when it comes time to roll up the furling genoa, drop the stak-pak main, and set the anchor, her “at rest” amenities really shine. She has twin steering wheels and an open transom (with swim deck) making it easy to get from the water to the cockpit, and a fresh water shower aft of the wheels. Below, there is plenty of room to nap in four spacious cabins, each with its own head and shower.
