What a Busy Fall!
by Mikhail Shamkin

Dining alfresco on the Almond Walk: your table is ready… join us!
We’ve been tuning and provisioning this ship for a great season and for seasons to come. We began an ambitious timetable of renovation on September 8th and completed 36 guest rooms prior to Thanksgiving, and we’ve just got a few more to complete! The new bathroom tile and refreshed woodwork, combined with the colors of the bedspreads and the sea and sky beyond the wrap around porch are just stunning.
Welcome our new Executive Chef, Evan Lee, who has already embarked on refreshing Bitter End’s menus and dining venues. It is his plan to review and revise the menus to capitalize on our access to the freshest fish in the Caribbean and celebrate recipes that have been a part of Bitter End for decades (Pumpkin Soup, anyone?). We’ll set a table for you, whenever you’re ready!
And, once you’ve had a hearty meal, a hot shower, and a good sleep, you can get certified in keelboat sailing here at Bitter End! The Bitter End Sailing School is US Sailing accredited, so guests can complete their on the water training at the resort, in addition to learning to windsurf, kiteboard and cruise. To accomplish this we have brought on board some highly trained instructors that will lead this programmeet them. Also check out the new boat we have added to our fleet for this season, Venture II, a 50-foot Beneteau sloop, that is available for private charter as well as our sunset and adventure cruises.
For our guests who just like to lounge around, the swimming pool has been enhanced with rather creative graphics that capture the Bitter End experience.
I know you may be busy enjoying some of our newest developments on your next trip, but I hope to see youat least on Monday night at the Cocktail Party!
Higher and Faster!
