Get To Know:
Erik Stacy,
Yacht Club Manager

Erik is perfectly suited to his role meeting, greeting, and accommodating waterfront visitors from megayacht owners, to ‘round the world cruisers.
Opting for a better quality of life than what working in the hi-tech corporate world could offer, Erik Stacy first arrived in North Sound on a bareboat charter in 2002. Recommended as a great stop by fellow sailing instructors and members of OCSC in Berkeley, CA, where he worked, Bitter End and North Sound turned out to be too compelling for Erik to leave for very longhe returned that season to help out at Watersports.
Next, he visited regularly as mate on Too Elusive, a ketch rigged Ocean 80 and a Quarterdecck Club member. Whether on charter or not, they’d come to Bitter End, to see friends, play with the toys and be a part of the Bitter End’s rollicking nautical village.
Once the boat went back up north. Erik was asked to head up the local sales and marketing. And, as he puts so well, “It was a no brainer.” Erik tries to get out sailing and windsurfing as much as possible, and took part in the BVI Spring Regatta and Sailing Festival as part of Team Bitter End this year.
