Sea and Salsa Celebration

Guest chefs with Chef Nicely, center.
Pack your guayabera shirts and dancing shoes and join us in celebrating the soul of the Latin Caribbean this July 22 July 31, 2005. Experience Latin flavors, sounds and moves with a full week of activities and special guests during the Sea and Salsa Celebration.
Guests will enjoy cigar night, salsa and merengue under the stars and mojitos and tostones at the bar all week long. Children will follow in the footsteps of the Spanish Caribbean gold trade with special treasure hunts and adventures.
In addition to the culinary wizardry of Bitter End’s Executive Chef, Trevor Nicely, the resort will feature guest chefs from the notable Puerto Rican restaurants Ajili Mojili and Soleil Beach Club. Each guest chef will add their special Puerto Rican style to the menu, with tasty additions like Ajili Mojili’s Mango Bajito cocktail made with fresh mango nectar and rum and top-secret ingredients, their noted Tortitas Cuchi-Cuchi and Soleil’s Seafood Mofongo. Don Q Rum will graciously provide the rum (and more) for this week’s fun.

Celebrate into the wee hours on the dance floor! Instructors from Puerto Rico will be conducting dancing lessons for kids and adults every afternoon. Then, after dinner, they will help you lose your inhibitions on the dance floor. Viva la salsa! Viva el merengue!
