The Lookout:
A like-minded community–no glitz

by Dana Hokin

“We know there are changes coming to BEYC with The Lookout and Villa renovations. We keep coming back because we love BEYC, and we hope that any changes or improvements are decided carefully so as not to destroy the wonderful ‘personality’ of BEYC.” – Guest comment, Winter 2004

I agree. BEYC’s “personality” is what makes this a treasured place. It’s what I like, what you like, and what everyone who comes here likes. Bitter End is special because of its character.

Let me take this opportunity to assure you that it is our solemn intention to make certain The Lookout and any renovation to the property enhances as well as blends into the overall Bitter End landscape and experience.
I’m involved in every step of The Lookout and I am committed to keeping Bitter End’s personality intact. I have a small child, and just like you who bring your children here, I want all of our kids to have the same fabulous experience at BEYC that we have had.

And, to update you:

As I write this, Celine Brill, our sales manager, is on site, giving tours and answering many questions about The Lookout. She reports back that, in addition to mastering Guy’s trail in flip-flops, the enthusiasm for the project is at an all time high. And Peter Brill, out architect (and Celine’s father), is working on many key details so that by the next issue we can let you know when we expect to break ground on the first Villa at the south end of the property.

To date, we have four villas and three lots reserved by past Bitter End guests. What these guests all have in common is their commitment to the Bitter End lifestyle. That’s what we are all committed to here: a like-minded community built on the Bitter End experience (we think of it as a lifestyle).
If you are interested in getting more information on The Lookout contact Celine Brill at lookout@beyc.com, or check out our web site at www.beyc.com/lookout.

Sincerely,

Dana Hokin

P.S. If you don’t already subscribe to our monthly enewsletter, the Bitter End News, please do. It’s a great way to stay up to speed on what’s going on, all over the resort. Go to www.beyc.com/newsletter.asp to subscribe.
