Special Spots, Just for Snorkelers

Just this July, the BVI Government has designated a number local reefs and sounds just for snorkeling. The British Virgin Islands regularly rank on the top lists of underwater site-seeing, with spectacular varieties of coral and fish not seen elsewhere. Some of these special sites are easily accessible from Bitter End—Horseshoe Reef, South Sound, Taylor Bay—and some of them are sites visited on our day-long excursions around the BVI, such as Norman Island and Ginger Island.

While you are visiting Bitter End, staying ashore or afloat, you can find out more about the spectacular snorkeling (and diving and fishing and sailing and windsurfing!) sites close by, grab a picnic lunch and take off on your own, or join one of our many snorkeling excursions to get up close with wonders of the BVI.
