Victoria "Tori" Watson Smith, Lloyd Furqueshson and Andre
Tori Watson

Tori (left with Emporium staff members Euphrasia and Eve.
Victoria Watson-Smith, better known as Tori, is the latest addition to the Bitter End Yacht Club staff. She has taken on the challenge of giving our much-loved Emporium shop a face-lift. Tori and her team, Desiree, Makisha and Eudene, will be bringing in a deli counter so that more of our freshly baked goods prepared by Chef Winston Butler are available. They will be introducing light snacky breakfast items that can be grabbed by those early-to-rise, early-to-go boaters on their way to the docks, as well as expanding the variety of fresh produce, fish, meats and other products.
Tori is from Wales but is a former resident of the BVI. She is RYA certified and a PADI diver with extensive experience in the hospitality industry. This gives her a good grounding to respond to guests Emporium needs. Stop by and see whats happening in her part of the world. By the way did you know we carry the best selection of ice cream in Virgin Gorda?
Lloyd Furqueshson

Lloyd Furqueshson is one of our top-notch Bartenders. Otherwise known as Jerry, Lloyd has been working in the BVI for the past seven years bartending, and now he joins the Bitter End team. Lloyd is very creative, mixing new concoctions all the time, and is famous for his shots. The guests love to see him; he is very social and fun for the guests to be around.Plus, his cooking is outstanding: everyone loves to have his finger licking, delicious burgers, chicken sandwiches and whatever else he whips up. The best of hosts, Lloyd never says no to any guest. All are welcome, and he makes sure everyone has a drink and is feeling happy. Hes a character and a gem. The positive experience with Jerry at the Pub will never be forgotten by anyone. If you happen to be at the Bitter End Yacht Club in the afternoon, one of the best places to be is the Pub.
Andre

Andre is a handsome young fellow of the isle of Spice in Grenada. This quiet and innovative young man has great potential. He came to the BVI on October 15th, 1998, to work as a Beach Attendant at Bitter End. Due to his sharp eye, eager to please attitude, intelligence and ambition, he quickly learned the secrets of bartending. Now he ranks up there with some of our long-term and beloved staff. His energy, vibrancy and friendliness is captivating and people come looking for him when they visit us. But you will have to keep your eyes open, for he is everywhere . . . at the pool, the Pub and the Clubhouse . . . his energy is undeniable! Last year André took the plunge and married part-time waitress Becky, from the Clubhouse Restaurant. Smart cookie that she is, her full time job is as a school teacher. Andres motto is: Only the best is good enough.
