Summertime is family time. School’s out, sailing and boating and anything-outdoors season is in, and the kids are ready to have some fun. Bitter End has created a week of fun, similar to our popular Thanksgiving Sail Caribbean Family Week—and we’ve placed it in the heart of summer. This July, fun on the water is the name of the game, and the Team Vanguard traveling pros from Vanguard Sailboats (makers of Lasers, Vanguard 15s, Optimists, and Picos—all in our fleet) will be along to help us play. Join in daily dinghy sailing instruction, a little bit of racing, and a lot of fun. All ages are welcome. There will be parent-child events, as well as skill-specific training. Shoreside, there will be beach games and “family-crew dinners.” The highlight of the week will be the 1st Annual North Sound Laser Relay Rally—a point-to-point Laser rally that tests more than just sailing acumen.
