November 2930 2002
Quarterdeck Club
to Host Top Flight Fishing Tournament

Bitter End Yacht Club is proud to announce its 1st Annual Thanksgiving Game Fish Challenge, November 29-30, 2002. Join us for our first ever in fishing, hosted by the Quarterdeck Marina of Bitter End. This event is open to sport fishermen and sport fishing boats of all sizes and makes, and will include the participation of Bitter Ends own fleet of Bradley 22s and Makos. Additional sport fishing vessels will be available for charter.
Given the fertile fishing grounds not far from Bitter End, we expect to give out a lot of prizes, judges Quarterdeck Manager Brent Hollink of the fishing prospects off Bitter Ends shores. There will be cash prizes for 1st Best Overall Weight, and 2nd Biggest Fish, as well as other overall and daily prizes for top female angler; youngest angler; biggest wahoo, dolphin, tuna, and kingfish.
In addition to great fishing, anglers and their families will enjoy great shore side evening entertainment, including a Pub Party complete with daily prizes on Friday night and a Final Awards Ceremony and Dinner at the Almond Walk on Saturday night.
While the anglers are afloat, there will be plenty to do ashore for the non-fisherfolk. Bitter Ends pool, beaches, and the fantastic watersports activities and excursions are all popular diversions. Join us for the entire week, and make a vacation of it for the whole family; kids will love the Sail Caribbean program and the Thanksgiving Banquet is a feast not to be missed!
The entry fee for this event is $75 per rod, with a minimum entry of $300 per boat. For more information, or to receive a preregistration packet, call our Reservations Office at 1-800-872-2392. If you cant make it this November, mark your calendars for the Quarterdeck Club Invitational Fishing Tournament, Memorial Day Weekend, 2003.
