Spotlight On:
Kayaking at Bitter End

Sailing is the heart of Bitter End, but sometimes the wind just doesn’t cooperate. What do you do? Do you sit on the beach moping, or do you find other means to get out on North Sound? Grab a kayak!

Bitter End has a variety of kayaks designed to cater to all levels and sizes. Our double kayaks are great for a family outing, and our unique Hobie pedal kayaks provide excellent upper and lower body exercise.

Take off on your own self-propelled adventure: discover your own private beach, poke around the numerous mangrove stands or even snorkel right off your kayak. Pick up a picnic lunch, a towel, a book or any other equipment you might need to disconnect for the day, pick your kayak and go!

The Hobie Pursuit Single Kayak: This lightweight paddling machine is ideal for exploring the pristine waters and beaches of the greater North Sound area. Features a storage locker and a built-in cup holder.

The Hobie Odyssey Double Kayak: This is kayaking’s official family boat. It has plenty of room for two parents and a child in between. Features ample internal storage and is very stable in all sea conditions.

The Hobie Mirage Pedal/Paddle Kayak: Paddling meets pedaling. This unique craft features an innovative pedal system that can be removed for paddling. Great leg exercise, or try the upper body/lower body combined workout — our staff can show you how.
The Hobie Mirage Tandem: All the great features of the single Mirage, but with twice the power. This boat is an excellent way to tour the islands and get a great workout at the same time. Pack up your mask and fins and head out to Eustatia Reef in style.

Check out the rest of the Club fleet.
