The Bitter End’s Highly Acclaimed Family Package Just Got Better

Kids Under Five Are Free This Summer — The Family That Plays Together Has Fun

Over the last couple of years, the Bitter End’s Family Package has hauled in plenty of accolades for value (Travel & Leisure Magazine) and sheer fun (Child Magazine). The common refrain is that “the Bitter End is the ideal place for families to vacation as families.” The price for the kids has always been spot on, at least for children 6-17 years old. But for some reason little sis and bro got left out of the mix, often left home with the baby sitter or grandparents. We felt that it was time to introduce keen juniors to the joys of beaches and boating, and this summer is the time to do it.

Don’t expect to drop the kids off every day at a day care facility— our junior programs are geared for children 6 and up. However, expect to have a great vacation introducing the young ones to crystal clear waters teeming with marine life. Or take them on their first Hobie Cat sail: the water’s warm, the air’s warm, and the environment is unintimidating. They’ll be hooked on sailing and watersports for life. In the great big book of Bitter End Fun, “The family that plays together, has fun.”

Here’s How the Package Works

For a typical family of five. Mom and Dad (and little sis or bro five or under) are in one room, while sis and bro (aged 6-17 years) are in the adjoining room (or little sis or bro can bunk in with their older siblings, leaving mom and dad some quiet time). The whole crowd is just $675 a night (plus tax and service charge).

Similarly, should just Mom, Dad, and junior wants to vacation as a family, junior (5 or under) is free (if he or she is sharing the same room with the folks).

Additional children between 6 and 12 years old are $50 a night.

Additional children 13 years old and up are $100 a night.

Valid for travel May 1- Nov 22, 2002.
