A Huge Success
20th Annual Interline Regatta

Over 700 sailors representing airline companies from all over the world converged on The Bitter End this past October as the 20th anniversary Interline Regatta made its way through the British Virgin Islands. Participants enjoyed a welcome break from the flotilla racing action as Bitter End played host to lay day activities featuring great food, drink and dancing.
Not content to waste another perfect sailing day sitting on the beach, some 60 sailors took part in The Bitter Ends special multi class regatta featuring Lasers, Hobie Waves, Rhodes 19s, J-24s and the popular Hobie Getaways. The action was fast and furious as 25 boats rounded the race course in challenging southeast wind conditions.
The post race party was equally exciting as sailing instructor extraordinaire Christian doled out the prizes including the famous Racing At Bitter End
it aint over til the coolers empty! t-shirts. Revelers took that slogan to heart as every last ounce of ale was quickly consumed.
The days festivities culminated with a sumptuous buffet followed by a rollicking party featuring Latitude Stars and DJ Heavy B. Partying went on into the wee hours of the morning. Event organizer Graham Talbot proclaimed the day a huge success and looks forward to returning to The Bitter End in 2002.
