North Sound Adventure Challenge

A New Event for Active Lifestyle Friends and Families.

Team Composition & Course Layout: Four person teams — all over 21 years, minimum of three over 30, at least one over 50, at least one female. Teams may decide how they would like to “tag-team” the following course.

Start Time: 8:30 am. This course is geared for the leaders to finish in about 6 hours, with stragglers finishing no later than sundown.

Leg 1: Surfboard Paddle — From The Bitter End’s North Beach to Leverick Bay (about 1.8 miles, 1 team member)

Leg 2: Run — From Leverick Bay to Savannah Bay (about 2.8 miles, with 1,300 foot vertical ascent/decent, 1 team member)

Leg 3: Kayak — Two person Hobie Tandem Kayak paddle from Savannah Bay to Vixen Point (about 5.8 miles, 2 team members)

Leg 4: Sail — Two person Hobie Waves from Vixen Point, out Colquhoun Cut and around Necker Island, finishing at Bitter End North Beach, via Statia Sound (about 7 miles, 2 team members)

Teams staying in the hotel for at least four nights (team packages available) have their entry fee waived. Entry includes official event jerseys provided by Railriders.com, the premier adventure-racing clothier. Teams may be sponsored. Come early & train. First 20 team entries accepted.
