Bone Fishing at Bitter End

Did you know that along with being one of the greatest sailing, snorkeling, and scuba-diving destinations on earth, the flats surrounding Bitter End provide some of the best bone fishing opportunities anywhere?

That’s right! Imagine waking up one morning, stepping out onto your balcony and actually seeing fish tailing. This is a common occurrence on the flats lining Bitter Ends’ property.

The greater North Sound area boasts five major flats (totaling more than 500 acres) teeming with game fish. But remember, these fish are spooky, so make sure you bring along your best gear. Guided tours are available as well. (We still recommend bringing your own fly gear. Spinning rods are included on our guided trips.)

When you’re not hot on the tail of the wily bone fish, you can hone your light tackle skills right off any of our docks. It’s not unusual to see enormous tarpon lazing about—but once on the line, they’re a great fight.

Keep in mind, the BVI is a “catch and release” territory. Bitter End just keeps getting better and better, so come on down and join the fun.
