Bitter End Introduces New Hiking Trail

The beauty of the North Sound is lost on few people. And many of our guests have hiked to the top of Biras Hill to get a better view. This past fall, our resident photographer Guy Clothier, assisted by our food and beverage director Andy Woodrick, Spencer, and Emporium manager Petrina cleared a path over the top of Bitter End, affording a spectacular view of the North Sound and established a unique hiking opportunity for our guests.
Adventurers can pick up the trail at the North End of the property near the Vita course (or from the top row of Beachfronts). After a brisk vertical climb, hikers will be rewarded with a spectacular overlook of the North Sound, Saba Rock and the Clubhouse Beach. Further hiking will lead you to a meadow reminiscent of Little House On the Prairie. It ultimately connects to the trail network at neighboring Biras Creek, creating a complete loop that ends back on the Bitter End waterfront.
It is a great addition to an already action packed menu of activities. Drop by the Watersports Desk for more details on this new feature.
