Gordo’s Challenge

At Bitter End, we take pride in the fact that we offer an amazing variety of activities and trips. You would need to spend about a month at Bitter End to truly appreciate all the things we have to offer. But most people only get a week or so to regenerate their batteries. But we challenge you to become “The ultimate type-A Bitter End Action Guest.” Here’s your itinerary, should you decide to accept:

Sunday: Laser Racing in the morning, followed by Rhodes 19s in the afternoon, followed by our Watersports reception (awards, beer, new friends/rivals!) Food! Eldon John! Bed!

Monday: Our weekly trip to Jost Van Dyke featuring great snorkeling, a gourmet lunch cooked aboard the MV Corinthian and of course, Foxies. Then back to Bitter End. Shower. Manager’s Cocktail Party. Food! Reflections Steel Orchestra! Bed!

Tuesday: Learn to Sail, or, the “Best of Virgin Gorda Excursion” featuring The Baths, Savannah Bay, Fallen Jerusalem and more. Then back to Bitter End. Shower, Sunset Sail, Food! Limbo! A few late night pops with new friends/rivals at the Pub. Bed!

Wednesday: Anegada! The ultimate Caribbean Island. Beaches, snorkeling, great food at the Big Bamboo, slow pace. Back to Bitter End. Sunset sail? (No, too tired… Nap!) Food! Nod off during Caddyshack! Bed!

Thursday: Early a.m. visit to Vita Course (do a few laps), Coral Gardens on Paranda, our 48’ Racing Catamaran. Sailing, snorkeling, tasty lunch aboard, great sail home. Cocktails, Shower, food, Limbo again, stargazing, pass out on the beach, Bed.

Friday: Pre-breakfast hike on new trail. Tasty breakfast. Norman Island, the ultimate snorkel trip. The Caves, The Indians, The Willy “T.” (Body Shots? Not yet. Too early.) Great lunch aboard the Corinthian. Head home to Bitter End. (Sunset sail? Free Rum Punch! Yes!) Food, movie, Bed.

Saturday: Last day. Sail to the Baths with Michael and Terry. The ultimate Baths trip. Classic! Snorkel, explore, beach comb. Sail home. Shower, Nap, Champagne Cruise. Dinner, dance, reminisce, cry, pack.

What a week. And guess what? This is only the beginning. You have only scratched the surface of our program. So come on down. We dare you!! Of course how much or little you do is up to you. Stay tuned next issue for the “Beach & Pool Sloth” challenge.
